FAQs - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DOES IT DO?

To carry out its objectives, MASSCORP participates in business missions to South Countries in conjunction with the Malaysian Government. It also organises its own fact finding missions to select South Countries. These activities are supplemented with on-going dialogues with the Malaysian Government and visiting Government and business delegations from the South Countries.

Since its formation, MASSCORP has been enjoying the support, encouragement and guidance of the Malaysian Government, its agencies as well as the financial institutions of Malaysia.

WHO'S WHO?

MASSCORP is governed by a Board of Directors whose members are prominent Malaysian entrepreneurs.

Each South region and certain South Countries are represented by Country Directors. These individuals have special business interest and in-depth knowledge of the respective countries they represent. The Country Directors would spearhead MASSCORP's involvement in any business projects in those countries they represent.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once a potential investment area is identified as viable, MASSCORP will carry out the project together with a consortium of its Shareholders who have relevant technical and management expertise.

To facilitate the transfer of management and technical expertise to the host country, MASSCORP, would as a rule of thumb, endeavour to identify suitable local business partners to participate in the project.
